Unable to pair my wearable device with another phone
Problem
The Huawei Health app is unable to find the wearable device or displays a message indicating that pairing fails when the user tries to pair the wearable device with another phone.
Solution
- Unlink your wearable device from the Huawei Health app and Bluetooth on the phone that you connected your wearable device to.
- Android users:
Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on the phone. Open the Huawei Health app, touch Devices, your device name, then the icon in the upper-right corner, and select Unpair device. Check whether the wearable device is still paired with the phone via Bluetooth. If so, delete the pairing information by going to Settings > Bluetooth, finding the wearable device, touching the icon on the right, and touching Unpair.
- iOS users:
Touch Devices in the lower-right corner of the Huawei Health app, swipe left on the device you wish to unpair, and touch the unpair icon. Then go to Settings > Bluetooth on your phone, touch the circle icon with i in it next to the Bluetooth name of the paired device, and touch Forget this device to delete the pairing record.
2. Perform the following when your wearable device is in pairing mode:
- For the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2/HONOR MagicWatch 2/HUAWEI WATCH GT 3/HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner, go to Settings > System > Disconnect.
- For the HUAWEI WATCH 3 series, go to Settings > System & updates > Disconnect.
- For the HUAWEI TalkBand B6, go to Settings > System > Connectivity > Disconnect.
- If you are using the HUAWEI TalkBand B5, swipe on the band screen and go to More > Pairing.
- For the HUAWEI TalkBand B3, swipe on the band screen and go to

. Try to connect your phone and band again when the
icon flashes, which indicates that the band has entered pairing mode.
- For other types of wearable devices, touch Restore factory settings on the settings screen.
