SpO2 can't be measured or the reading is incorrect
Check whether your band/watch and the Health app are running the latest versions. If not, update them to the latest versions.
If no SpO2 data is displayed or the reading is inaccurate, perform the following operations.
Wear your device properly
- Wear your device properly and make sure it fits your wrist comfortably (it should be slightly tight). Do not wear it on your wrist bone. Keep your arms level, keep your device screen facing up, start an SpO2 measurement on the device, and keep your arms still throughout the measurement.
- Make sure that the rear of your wearable device is clean and dry, and not covered by any foreign objects.
Rub your arm if the ambient temperature is low
If you are in an environment where the ambient temperature is low, such as in areas with high altitude and when outdoors during winter, take off your wearable and rub your arm for a few minutes to activate blood circulation.
Avoid wearing your device in contact with tattoos or scars
Avoid keeping your device in contact with lots of hair, tattoos, or scars on your arm.
Start a measurement three to five minutes after wearing it
For a more accurate result, we recommend that you start measuring SpO2 three to five minutes after wearing it.
